Do I actually have oily skin?
Oily skin produces excess oil over the entire surface, feels oily to touch, may have enlarged pores and may experience areas of congestion, blackheads and breakouts.
Do I actually have combination skin?
Combination skin produces excess oil typically only within the T-Zone area (forehead, nose, chin), but dry everywhere else.
Skin with advanced or severe acne should be treated very gently and never exfoliated until the condition is under control.
The best way to take care for your oily/combination skin is to CLEANSE, BALANCE & REGULATE OIL PRODUCTION…
Enriched with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants this purifying Aloe Vera based cleansing lotion has been expertly formulated with skin-loving properties that will work wonders for your complexion and skin microbiome. Leaving your skin silky soft and smooth, while reducing the appearance of acne, blemishes and imperfections.
Beautiful botanical extracts such as Australian Wattleseed, Nettle and Witchazel were carefully chosen for their astringent, toning, pore refining and oil balancing properties, whilst citrus lemon and geranium were added to enliven, and to restore harmony and balance for a fresh, luminous appearance.
This Oil Balancing Cleanser is ideal for oily, combination, dehydrated, blemished and acne prone skin types. The perfect choice for restoring balance and radiance to your complexion, whilst at the same time deeply hydrating your face without prompting reactions such as clogged pores and dryness.
ALOE VERA – Is decongestant and soothing. Builds a cooling and protective layer on the skin. Providing moisture directly to the skin tissue and has a relaxing but firming effect on the skin. Its important constituents are minerals, polysaccharides and amino acids.
JOJOBA OIL – Absorbs easily into the skin without leaving an oily residue. Jojoba is very similar to the natural sebum of your skin, supporting the skin’s natural barrier function, so it helps to balance the moisture and natural oil levels in all skin types. It is very high in vitamins and keeps the skin supple, as well as, providing skin protection against free-radical damage and environmental pollutants. Despite its waxy properties jojoba is non-comedgenic and doesn’t block the pores. It is soothing, healing, natural anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Jojoba oil also has moisturising benefits which inhibits the breakdown of collagen.
NETTLE EXTRACT – Has very high Vitamin E and antioxidant content. It is stimulating, astingent, anti-inflammatory and cleanses oily skin. Known to strengthen, calm and soothe stressed or sensitive skin due to its high silica content.
AUSTRALIAN WATTLESEED EXTRACT – Is high in amino acids, anti-infammatory, cleansing and pore refining.
WITCH HAZEL EXTRACT – One of nature’s best astringents (refreshing and mild), anti-inflammatory, and has anti-free radical activity properties, particularly beneficial for oily/problem skin due to its more gentle properties. It not only tones and rebalances the skin, it’s used to preserve the skins moisture.
