TIPS FOR APPLYING FRAGRANCE OILS

  • DO apply fragrance to pulse points, like your wrists, neck, behind the ears, inside elbows and behind knees for optimal diffusion.
  • DO apply fragrance immediately after showering or moisturising, when your skin is slightly damp. This helps lock in the fragrance and prolong its longevity.
  • DO let the fragrance dry naturally on your skin. Do not rub your wrists together, as the friction from rubbing can break down the fragrance molecules and cause the top notes to fade faster and affect the overall scent.

TUBEROSE is used a lot in high-end luxury brands such as Chanel and Tom Ford for its intense fragrance, which is sweet, creamy and floral.  Many historians believe that Tuberose originated in Ancient Mexico where it was used to intensify the flavour of their chocolate.  Half a pound of tuberose absolute is produced from a tonne of flowers.  The French Queen, Maria Antionette, had two scents created especially for her which included Tuberose.
